Bandaru Dattatreya to take oath as Himachal Pradesh Governor on September 5

Former Union minister Arif Mahommed Khan and senior BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya were appointed as Governors of Kerala and Himachal Pradesh severally.

HYDERABAD: Former union minister Bandaru Dattatreya, appointed as Himachal Pradesh Governor, can take oath on Sept five at the city Shimla.

"With the blessings of Lord Hindu deity, I will be able to be reaching Shimla on Sept four and can be sworn in as Governor on Sept five. I pray to God for the welfare of the individuals of Telangana and Himachal Pradesh," the same once giving prayers at an area Hindu deity pandal here.

Former Union minister Arif Mohammed Khan and senior BJP leader Bandaru Dattatreya were appointed as Governors of Kerala and Himachal Pradesh severally, in keeping with a politician statement issued on Sunday.

Senior BJP leaders Bhagat Singh Koshyari and Tamilisai Soundararajan were appointed as Governors of Maharashtra and Telangana severally whereas former union minister Kalraj Mishra was appointed because of the Rajasthan Governor.
