Bhojpuri actress Anupama Pathak 'commits suicide'

Bhojpuri film entertainer Anupama Pathak supposedly ended it all at her home in Mira Road zone of the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, police said on Friday. 

Pathak, 40, was discovered hanging at her leased level in Mhada Colony on Sunday, police said. 

Hailing from Purnea region in Bihar, she had moved to Mumbai and worked in Bhojpuri movies and TV shows. 

A day prior to, she had partaken in a Facebook video that she was cheated and couldn't confide in anybody. In the video, she talked about trust issues and not having companions who could be of help. 

She took her life when her significant other was out for some work, police said. Death note was found at the spot. 

A police official said she felt cheated as a companion didn't restore her bike and was likewise disturbed as she was out of cash and work during the coronavirus-initiated lockdown. 

"Bye, pleasant evening" was her last Facebook post, the authority said. 

A case has been recorded under Section 306 of the IPC, he said. 

Pathak's passing comes when media outlets are reeling from the stun of the demise of entertainer Sushant Singh Rajput, who was discovered hanging at his loft in rural Bandra on June 14. 

On June 9, Rajput's previous director Disha Salian bounced from a tall structure. On May 15, TV entertainer Manmeet Grewal had balanced himself at his Mumbai home. 

TV entertainer Samir Sharma, 44, most popular for his jobs in 'Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi' and 'Left Right Left', was on Wednesday discovered dead at his home in rural Malad where he lived alone.
